Lady Gaga caused a stir when she wore a dress made of meat to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, and now a British designer has taken a leaf out of the flamboyant singer’s book by designing a gown from sushi.

The designer used fifty sheets of vivid green pressed seaweed and silk organza for the creation and incorporated geometric patterning and sheer panelling.

The dress was created in collaboration with Pan-Asian restaurant Chino Latino to mark London Fashion Week, which begins on September 14, and will be on display in the lobby of the dining venue at the Park Plaza Riverbank until September 18.
